Youth African Dancing

Our Youth West African dance classes are exciting, interactive, and teach full body coordination while building grace & stamina at an early age.

Thursday Youth West African Dance Class (ages 9-15) is taught by Lesina Martin, senior dancer and lead singer of Farafina Kan from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Sunday Youth Dance Classes (ages 3-5) from 10 am to 11 am and from 11 am to 12 pm (ages 6-8) are taught by Nkenge Cunningham, senior dancer and Director of the Farafina Kan Denu dancers (ages 4 – 7).

All youth dance classes are held at the UbuntuNankama@ACAS in building 3802. Online registration is not available for these classes but drop-ins are encouraged and welcomed. Contact Lesina here and Nkenge here for more information on class.
